Ho‘oponopono Mantra

The Ho‘oponopono Mantra is a simple tool that you can use quietly, anywhere, any time, especially when the mind feels busy or you notice yourself going over things again and again.  It can be repeated silently or quietly to yourself, even in the background of daily life.

I actually love this mantra.  I find it powerful, and use it often, especially if there is something on my mind.

It doesn’t require effort, analysis, or trying to fix anything.

The simple words allow emotional release, calm the nervous system, and bring you back to into balance & harmony.

It can be directed inward to yourself, or towards another person, a situation, God, or the universe — whatever feels most natural to you in the moment.

I often find that, in any given situation, one of the four phrases naturally stands out.

There’s nothing to analyse or figure out. You don’t need to look for a problem or try to match the words to a situation. As you repeat the mantra, your subconscious naturally responds — sometimes allowing something to be released or softened, and other times simply deepening a sense of gratitude, love, or connection that’s already present.

In this way, the mantra can replace overthinking with kindness, and help keep the nervous system balanced and in harmony.

Love always comes first.
Love creates the safety that allows everything else to soften.

The mantra can work with anything. One client uses Ho‘oponopono with her ankle after a sprain. Instead of getting frustrated when it flares up, she pauses, brings her attention there, and offers love — quietly repeating the mantra and asking her body for forgiveness. That shift alone changes how her whole system responds.

Regular use of the mantra can lead to physical, emotional and mental healing.
